If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Rockford and Illinois, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Had pork chop, beef tenderloin and the bolognese lasagne as well as the kids buttered pasta few weeks back, food was okay but felt like the pork chop was too thick to eat comfortably, it would have been nice if it was less thick maybe around the 1inch thickness and cooked to a medium. Also would have been a much better experience if the dinner knife would cut through it smoothly without having to saw it back and forth long enough for me to notice that it was annoying. The sauce was good though. The beef tenderloin was a bit on the dry side even though we said medium and it tasted very β€˜beefy’, not ideal for me but it was okay. The lasagne bolognese was also as someone said previously, that it tasted like sloppy joe, and it sure did. Not my preference and I think there needs to be some flavor improvement there. My son who is 6 ordered the buttered pasta but said it tasted weird and after I tasted it, I can confirm it tasted different, like lemony buttery pasta so we didn't like it and it was not good. The pastas overall were good and had potential but the sauces for the two we had really need improvement, i would stick to a simple buttered pasta and not add any flavor to it, bologne

Absolutely amazing from scratch dishes, aligning with the seasons produce. I wish I had taken a picture of the wild ramp bruschetta but it was gone in seconds! Incredibly rich and filling, especially with the red wine. My dish was called β€œgnudi” and featured more wild ramps (wild leek) and a cream base sauce.

Pasta is cooked al dante and ricotta is smooth & creamy. Both their pasta & ricotta are housemade. Their beef tenderloin is very good and their marinara rivals their cream sauce. Their cellar is very nice. Only thing is the waitress forgot our complementary anniversary champagne and our reserved table was very small (like an end table). We tried to move, but husband couldn't get down the cellar steps. We just got flutes of champagne and managed to get used to the table. We'll be back to try other dishes.

Most delicious food, homemade pasta, the sauces were like nothing I’ve had before. Gourmet 5 Star!! The vegetables are locally sourced and taste like they were picked off the vine that morning. Crunchy plum salad was my favorite! The service was the best I’ve ever had. Danny was an excellent server. Very calm. Respectful. Right there whenever we needed anything. I will definitely be back.

Plume delivered an unforgettable dining experience, from the fantastic food to the top-tier service. Our server, Zach, was outstandingβ€”attentive, friendly, and truly made our night special. Plus, the QR code coaster menu made ordering a breeze, and we appreciate their commitment to sustainability and that it allows them to continuously update their menu with local fresh flavors. We kicked things off with the Suppli and a special for the evening, the Duck Pierogi, both of which were amazing. A nice surprise? The complimentary Carne Salada, a delicious little bonus that allowed us to step outside our comfort zone. For our mains, we went with two standout pasta dishes. The Paccheri Pesto – A perfect blend of flavors and Pappardelle Stroganoff – Comfort food at its best, with perfectly tender brisket. And then came the grand finaleβ€”the Brown Butter Blueberry Tart, a special for the night. It is hard to stray from the perfect tiramisu, but we're so glad we did. Between the great food, thoughtful touches, and Zach’s stellar service, Plume completely knocked it out of the park. If you haven’t been yet, goβ€”you won’t regret it. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
